Learn the Transformative process
Have us come out and pour aluminum as an event! We can bring our own molds or we can do a workshop where participants carve a design into a resin-bonded sand brick! The carving will leave a cavity for aluminum to fill. Molding from physical objects is also an option. Designing a pattern with foam shapes and cutouts is also a technique to then mold from. There are a ton of options! Contact me for more details on this unique creative opportunity you can bring to your community, organization, or art center.

Colby Art Walk 2019 Event
Students from Colby High School and Colby Community College, as well as a few additional local citizens, carved a design into their own sand mold. We then poured their molds in front of the public as a performative event with open discussion access.

Colby Art Walk 2021 Event
We were invited to return and pour aluminum again in the city of Colby. It was a similar situation where students from Colby High School and Colby Community College, as well as a few additional local citizens, carved a design into their own sand mold. We then poured their molds in front of the public as a performative event alongside having our own sculptures positioned on a display table nearby. We also talked about the process briefly with inquisitive audience members as the metal melted.
